PROBLEM DEFINITION: How to get attention launching in a new city?
DESIGN SCOPE: Fulfilling childhood dreams was not the main motivation for making a giant Pac-Mac and Tetris. We determined that the arcade games were GRETA’s competitive advantage and so placed these sculptures around Vancouver a month before the grand opening of GRETA and by visiting these and a community block party, users earned credits for the arcade games for when it opened.
IMPLEMENTATION AND OUTCOME: Thousands of scans, visits and a successful new market entry!
